Voter Import

How to import voter data into the ERP — supports CSV upload and PDF ingestion via the OCR engine.

Opening Voter Import

From the left sidebar, click Voters › Voter Import or navigate to /voters/import.

Supported File Formats

Uploading a CSV

  1. Click Choose File and select your CSV.
  2. Click Upload.
  3. Map each CSV column to the corresponding voter field (name, father, mother, address, etc.).
  4. Click Start Import.
  5. Wait for the import to complete — you will see a progress bar.
  6. Review the import summary — successful rows, skipped rows, error rows.

Uploading a PDF (OCR)

For PDF voter lists from the Election Commission, the OCR engine handles extraction automatically:

  1. Click Choose File and select your PDF.
  2. Click Upload & Extract.
  3. The OCR engine processes each page, extracting voter records.
  4. Review the extracted data — you can edit any field before final import.
  5. Click Confirm Import to save all records.
Duplicate detection

The import process automatically detects duplicates by matching voter name + father's name + date of birth. Duplicates are skipped, not overwritten.
